Pulchri Studio was founded in 1847 as a collective of artists and has a rich history. Since 1898 the monumental building Lange Voorhout 15 has been home to Pulchri. Aside from exhibitions there are for example often lectures and concerts at Pulchri. Entrance to the gallery is free of charge.
Pulchri is open from Tuesday till Sunday from 12.00-17.00 hrs. Artists and art-loving members meet at Pulchri’s society (Clubhouse), which is a restaurant inside the Pulchri building. In the evening the club is exclusively for members, but from 11.00 to 18.00 pm anyone is welcome to enjoy a drink or snack. We also have a terrace in our “secret” garden. The galleries of Pulchri can also be rented for events such as receptions, parties and meetings.
